Conditions

When what a server or Node is doing differs from what it should be doing, for a reason that needs attention, it shows a condition with a reason code and a message.

Node conditions

A Node with any of the first three is Degraded.

Reason	Meaning	What to do
DISK_PRESSURE	The disk holding server data is running out of space	Free space, or move servers to another Node
MEMORY_PRESSURE	The machine is running out of memory	Lower servers’ memory, or move some away
RUNTIME_UNAVAILABLE	Docker is unreachable or failing	Check the Docker Engine on that Node
ORPHANED_SERVER	The Node runs a server the Controller does not know (the message names it)	Usually left over from an earlier install or a failed operation. Remove its container and volume if you do not need it

Server conditions

Reason	Meaning	What to do
RESTART_PENDING	A change (software, plugins, network membership) applies at the next start	Restart when it suits you
CRASH_LOOP	It crashed too often in a row and stays stopped	Read the Console and Activity, fix the cause, start it
NODE_SAFETY_DISK_PRESSURE	Its Node stopped it to protect its disk	Free space, then acknowledge the condition and start it
INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES	The Node cannot provide its reserved CPU or memory right now	Free resources on the Node, or move the server
PORT_CONFLICT	Its port is taken on the Node by something else	Free the port
EULA_NOT_ACCEPTED	The Minecraft EULA has not been accepted	Accept it for the server
ARTIFACT_UNAVAILABLE	The software could not be obtained	Check the Controller can download (or is not offline)
ARTIFACT_HASH_MISMATCH	A download did not match its published hash and was discarded	Try again; if it persists, report it
SPEC_INVALID	The Agent refused the server’s settings	Report it, with the message
TEMPLATE_UNKNOWN	The Node’s Agent does not know this server software	Upgrade the Agent
NETWORK_SETTINGS	Shardkeep could not write the network’s settings into the server’s files (for example, an invalid paper-global.yml)	Fix or remove the file, then start the server
MISSING	The Node does not report a server it should have	Check the Node; restore from a backup if its data is gone
PLUGIN_DENYLISTED	An installed plugin version was withdrawn in the catalog	Update or remove that plugin
WORKFLOW_FAILED	A restore or copy failed; the server stays stopped	Restore again
